Sherry has worked in outpatient clinics for over 27 years treating clients with orthopedic injuries. She has advanced education and experience in treating low back, mid-back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, concussion and vestibular symptoms, and orthopedic pediatric injuries. Sherry has taken numerous advanced studies in physiotherapy and continues to enjoy learning. Some of her courses include Manual Therapy Level 3, Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Level 3, Lynn Watson Shoulder course Level 3, Functional Dry Needling, Concussion and Vestibular courses, Fit for Golf, and numerous pediatric courses.
Sherry also enjoys teaching and has been a Preceptor for physiotherapy students from McMaster and University of Toronto, and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Toronto for second year medical students. For the past 3 years, she has enjoyed sharing her knowledge and experience with teaching her own courses on Low back, Mid-back and Neck, Shoulder, Hip and Knee and Concussion.
When not working, Sherry loves life at the cottage and any activity outdoors: stand up paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, surfing, mountain biking, golfing, softball, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. She has competed in several Triathlons and running races, so is familiar with sports injuries and the importance of keeping your body in a healthy condition.
Sherry is lucky to love her job, and hopes to work another 27 years!
