The Simple Approach to Low Back Pain: Assessment and Treatment
This course is for any physiotherapist who is not 100% confident in treating clients with low back pain, no matter how complicated. When over 80% of clients with low back pain cannot be attributed to a precise structure, an anatomical approach to assessing and treating is not very successful. This course will teach you how to properly assess and treat clients with low back pain using a syndrome-based approach, manual therapy techniques, as well as exercise and education to the client. This course was created and designed to offer a “one stop shop” to give you all the tools you need to successful treat every client with low back pain. There will be case studies and hands on practice to learn how to progress clients with various types of low back pain, from assessment to discharge. Participants will be able to apply course teachings to all their clients on Monday. This course is limited to 16 participants to allow for hands on assessment and treatment.
